The oval shape of the ceramic insert is designed to raise
the tensile durability when the ceramic insert is embedded
in concrete. Meanwhile, the tensile strength is effectively
increased and the possibility of fracture is decreased. It is
practically proven in the tensile tests that the arch effect
of this oval shape causes a cone fracture at the maximum
wide angle, thereby greatly increases the tensile stength.
